The Eclipse

❝ You came when I’m in a
darkest pit of hell,
You became the light to my
cloudy night sky,
A moon that comforts me
whenever I’m unwell,
And guides me in order
for me to fly high,

We met like how the sun
       and moon crosses it’s path—
       A kind of event that
       rarely happens,
       Yet fate leads us to
       where we sat,
       Now writing down our
       destiny with papers and pens,

Red is the color of love
       they say
       Like how the eclipse
       glows in our eyes;
It also means blood and anger
that can lead us to astray
       Reminding us that this love
       comes with a price,

A price; this may be us
       against the human race,
But let them stare and try to
grab us down from up above,
       We won’t be shaken in
everything we will going to face,
For we have the strongest armor
       which is our love.       ❞

Love, Happiness, and Endurance

What is love? When a person was been asked their definition of love, they first think about their love ones before answering. Some says, “Love is a feeling that made you think you are in a rollercoaster ride; bursting with different kinds of emotions—happiness, fear, and even made you feel crazy” and some also says, “Love is just an illusion created by our mind. An illusion that will only leads us to pain and suffering.” Every person doesn’t hold the same meaning love. They define love based on what they believed and experienced, and each one of us have different experiences no matter how similar it is with each other.

And as for me, love is always a feeling that cause as happiness and at the same time… sadness. The magical thing in love is you will never say that you are truly in love if that love can’t cause you pain, because how can you say that you love that person if their absence doesn’t make you sad, if you can still sleep peacefully after the midnight quarrels, and if you are not afraid to lose them?

Love doesn’t just make our heart race and filled our stomach with butterflies. It also makes our blood boil and nerve throb, push us to our frustration limits, cry our hearts out, and made us like a crumpled up piece of paper. That’s why if you want that love to last, then endure. Hold on tight and buckled up because sometimes love will leads us to a bumpy ride journey. Things will not be easy, but as long as this love is worth fighting for then fight for it.

Now tell me, what’s your definition of love?

Stuck in a Closet

Written by Cassandra Moon

❝ As a child…
Hiding in my closet
is my kind of thing,
When hide and seek
is what we are playing
As they start counting
from one to three
Can't help from giggling
as they look for me.
And now that I am 20
We no longer play
like how we used to be,
Yet here I am
still inside my closet
Hoping for someone
to open the door,
But I guess
I was been forget.
       I shout and shout,
And cried my heart's out!
Thinking that my voice
will reach their heart
But no one seems
to hear a thing
For they thought
that I am still a child
who loves playing
       Shades of black and grey
This is what I only see
Together with the feeling
of being betrayed
By someone who I thought
will set me free
       Please hear me!
I want to see a rainbow
For I belong to it's hue
And not to this pitch
black closet of agony. ❞
